For recruiters

If you got into this to help people, and it stopped feeling like that.

Most of us started out wanting to be good at this, then ended up somewhere that measured us on call volume and asked us to send forty resumes so one might stick. I built Merit because I did not want to work that way, and I would rather work with people who feel the same. You keep your relationships and run your own desk. What you give up is the part of the job you never liked.

Nobody counts your calls

You are not measured by dials or activity points. You are measured by whether the people you place are still there, and glad they came.

You will not carry a bad client

We check the employer before a search opens. If a workplace does not hold up, we turn the work down, so you are never asked to sell it.

Send three people, not forty

A short, honest shortlist you can defend. We would rather you spend the afternoon on the phone with a referee than filling a pipeline.

Your relationships stay yours

You work under the Merit name as an independent contractor, with clear splits, no quotas, and the software already built for you.

How we get to know each other

01

You tell us about yourself

Fill in the form below. I read every one of them.

02

A real conversation

How you work, what you are good at, what you will not do.

03

A proper interview

We walk through a live search together and talk it out.

04

Two references

A client or a hiring manager who has worked with you.

05

Paperwork

A contractor agreement, then we get you set up in our software.

Tell us about yourself

It is a long form on purpose, because I would rather read something real than skim a resume. Take your time, and I will come back to you either way.

A short introduction

Six questions, then I read it myself.

If it looks like we are a fit, I will come back to you and ask for the full profile. Either way, you hear from me.

Your note is routed to that division's desk.
