Merit
The people behind Merit.
Right now, that’s me. Merit is intentionally small, and I built it that way. If you work with us, I want you to know who you are talking to, who is running your search, and who is accountable for how it turns out. When that changes, the people who join will be here, with their names on their work.

I did not start Merit because I wanted to become a recruiter. I started it because I spent years on the other side of hiring, and got frustrated with how recruiting worked. It had gotten very good at moving fast and very bad at actually knowing who it was moving. Everything about how we work comes out of problems I hit inside real businesses, long before I built a company around solving them.
Before Merit I led Customer Experience at Neo Financial, and I owned it properly: the performance, the staffing, the culture. I rebuilt it around standards we could actually hold people to. Alongside that I built Neo's director level recruiting from nothing, and in the middle of it I built myself a tool that turned hiring manager notes and interview feedback into a proper read on someone, and got sharper every time I used it. It was never meant to be a product. It is the reason Merit has its own software today.
Before that I was with JOEY Restaurants, running a high volume location and its team, and I built the training and hiring programs that later got used across their U.S. expansion.
I have a Full Stack JavaScript credential from Treehouse, which is why I can build our own tools instead of buying them. I also founded TeeTime, a golf technology company, and I run a leadership coaching program on the side.
